Does the light of five dull candles manage to fill up a normal sized dinky hotel room? Well, if you are planning to light up simply a corner, then yes. If you are wishing to read at all, you might as well be blind.

It wasn't helping Felix read over the book about past wizard mass murders. Not that they shared with him any information. He just liked to laugh at all their simple mistakes they would always make. Like first off, some bloke named something Felix couldn't even begin to pronounce, had killed a muggle family of five, right when the male in the family was chief of police. Like that was suppose to be a quite, out of the news kill. Pointless stupidity.

Although the whole idea of killing people seemed odd to Felix anyway. Not that it wasn't entertaining. But torturing was easily more fun. He chuckled at his sick thoughts, and slammed the book shut, that his eyes were straining to read. He smiled, and blew out the candles, ready for a good nights sleep.

His mind slipped to wicked thoughts again.
"Kill them all."
"Who?"
"All of them."
Felix sighed, and rolled onto the most uncomfortable bed, wiggling to get comfortable. It was near impossible. "Go to bed," was the last thing Felix said to himself, before a knock banged on his door.

A loud groan came from the lump on the bed as it waddled its way back off the hard object claiming to be a 'bed'. He answered the door with a loud,"What!?"

Tonks took a step back, startled but not unnerved. Moody would have been incredibly displeased with her surprise, citing that she was neglecting her vigilance in his abscence. Her heart panged at the thought of her mentor, the survivor so unceremoniously wrenched from the Order. There had still been so much to learn from him. So much that she would now never know. Tonks forced her mind from the issue at hand.

Today her hair was a put together light brown. Her eyes were a plain color of brown that drew little attention rather than the dark eyes she usually had that were mirror images of the ones that ran through the Black family line. She had done everything she could do make herself appear as plain and indistinguishable as possible. She was here to find information, possibly work herself into the inner circles of Voldemort's men. This was a good place to start.

New members of the Death Eaters could not simply march up to Bellatrix Lestrange and ask for a Dark Mark. Marching up as Nymphadora Tonks was just a bad idea since her aunt would probably murder her on the spot for marrying the 'werewolf'. Instead this was a better alternative. Find kindred spirits, work her way in alongside them, disguise herself among others to better her chances of not being detected.

Here was the beginning of the worst mission of Tonks's life. Starting with the man that threw open the door with a loud "WHAT?" Tonks straightened her back.

Her voice steeled in an aloof attitude she said softly. Well pardon me sir. I was simply wondering if this is the place to go for people who do not believe that well certain people ought to be of equal status with the rest of the wizarding kind and want to get off their arses and do something about it.

OOC/ No worries I'm pretty bad at it too. Yeah sorry if the above post is kind of iffy. I didn't quite know how to explain why she was there.

A young lady was standing only feet away from Felix. Who the hell did she think she was knocking so late at night? Felix was just about to fall into dream land. He didn't great the lady with a smile, a hand shake, or even a nice hello. He wasn't exactly the person to do such things to common people anyway. Such foolery of good deeds, or some crap his parents used to tell him, have always gotten people hurt. Being selfish, and pulled away from everyone was a much better way to get what you wanted in life.

He glared at the girl. She was about his height, and had calm brown hair, with matching brown eyes. An ordinary girl. Yet he felt the strangest feeling that he had seen her somewhere, but unable in the slightest to make a connection. Probably some stupid prat who he had offended in some way.

"Well pardon me sir. I was simply wondering if this is the place to go for people who do not believe that well certain people ought to be of equal status with the rest of the wizarding kind and want to get off their arses and do something about it," the stranger said calmly, not even noticing how annoyed Felix was. What was she talking about anyway? She seemed to put her words together like that of a five year old, not real sure how to express what she really wanted to. Felix didn't shake his glare from the girl, semi hoping he was making the victim nervous.

"What in the name of Merlin's beard are you blabbing about?" he asked very rudely. He suspected that she was talking about death eaters, but declaring that he had the slightest connection with death eaters just out to some stranger seemed very foolish and well... stupid. His mood instantly changed, thinking maybe this girl could be of use to him. Something about her seemed like he shouldn't just slam the door in her face.

"How about you come inside?" he asked, quickly walking away from the door, scooping up strange books, and hiding them under his bed blanket before waving the lady in. "Please sit," his hand flew in the direction of a short table in the far corner that was lit dimly by an oil lantern, and had old knitted table dollies that were there as drink costers for anyone wishing not to harm the already shabby looking table. Felix didn't sit down at the table, instead, he sat down on the bed. Staring at the lady, just to irritate her.

Most people would have balked at the stare. Felt a rise of uncomfortable jitters travel up their spine and dance their way to the fingertips. Tonks felt no jitters, no wave of nervousness. Her happy go lucky manner had disappated the moment she set foot on the dark streets of Knockturn Alley. She was no longer just Tonks, but rather Auror Tonks with a mission. Her focus was on disguising her Auror attitude and play a role. A role she hoped to excel at.

She saw he was irritated. She pointedly ignored his irritation. Her eyes darted around the room quickly, noting the furniture and layout. It was a shabby place, much like Remus's flat when she had first met him. Tonks eyed the man before her, giving no sign of discomfort at his intent gaze.

What in the name of Merlin's beard are you blabbing about? How about you come inside? He said to her. She raised two eyebrows. And why in bloody hell would you ask me to come in if you didn't know what I'm here about? She said rather bluntly. She stepped in after him. Her stance was wary, however. Both a natural instinct and for show. Her wand in the folds of her robes, easily reachable although undetectable. I'd rather stand. Her role was one of hesitation. A young girl still testing the waters of Voldemort's minions. Her usual attitude had been discarded. The man would make the next move. And in this messy underground of cutthroat competition, Tonks knew that she would need her Hufflepuff patience to the fullest extent if she was to succeed. Her success would require this man and what he could offer her.

"And why in bloody hell would you ask me to come in if you didn't know what I'm here about?" Felix glared at her with a look of pure shock that she dare question his actions, yet hid the look quickly. "Let's just say that I feel we can be of help to both of us," he said, actually smiling. Felix was smiling. It wasn't a good smile, but it was a smile.

He flung his wand, and a cold jug of apple whiskey began to pour itself into two mugs. While the liquid was probably room temperature, it let off steam once it hit the mugs holding its shape. It had warmed itself, and Felix grabbed both glasses. He passed one to the new lady in front of him, and didn't bother asking if she would like a glass. If she didn't want it, she wouldn't drink it. But he knew how to be polite, no matter how much he rarely used the skill.

"So, I'm sorry, but I didn't manage to get your name miss..." he said lingering on the last words, hoping she would fill in the blank.

His head had begun to hurt, and he changed his spot on the bed, to that of a laying down one. Which made the pair look like Felix was spilling his soul to a psychiatrist or something.

Tonks raised her eyebrows at the man before allowing a small smile to grace her features. I don't want to be of help to you sir, no offense. I want to be of help to the Dark Lord. She said rather bluntly with a pointed gaze at the man before. However she took a seat and muttered a quick thanks when he poured her the apple whiskey. She, however, made no move to drink. Moody taught her never to drink in the presence of a Dark Wizard and she wanted to make it clear to this man that she was alert and watchful, not the run of the mill fresh out of Hogwarts youngster who wanted to join the Dark Lord's ranks simply because the rebels of the school had deemed it 'cool'.

He asked for her name. She studied his face and imprinted his features into her memory. Instead of answering she noticed his movement to a more relaxed position. Something bothering you?She asked.Headache?
